In Baldur’s Gate 3, players will encounter an elf woman that is trapped inside a Mind Flayer Pod. That woman is known as Shadowheart and in order to get her out of the pod, you will need to find an Eldritch Rune. This guide will help you to find the key to open the chest to get the Eldritch Runes which would help you to rescue shadowheart from her pod.
How to get the key for the chest containing an Eldritch Rune
After speaking with the shadowheart who is held captive inside the pod, your next task is to devise a method for her release. To the right of the pod where she is confined, you’ll find a chest that can be employed to set her free.
To access the Console next to the pod and unlock it, you must first locate the key required to open the sealed chest.
Interact with the dead Thrall positioned at the eastern end of the area. Retrieve the intricate key from this cadaver and return it to Shadowheart’s chamber. (Please consult the images provided below for reference
How to open the pod to help Shadowheart rescue
Retrieve the key, then open the chest to retrieve the Eldritch Rune. Take it now to the console that is located immediately to Shadowheart’s right. Fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 should choose to put their hands on the console once it “hums to life,” as doing so will ultimately result in the release of the elf woman. ( Refer to the images down below).
