In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Kiuyoyou Shrine (Fire and Ice) is a shrine situated in the Great Hyrule Forest’s Rowan Plain, more particularly in the Hyrule Ridge and Tabantha Frontier Region. This page contains instructions on how to find and access the TotK Kiuyoyou shrine, a walkthrough through the shrine, answers to puzzles, and locations of treasure chests.


Location and Access

Kiuyoyou Shrine is located in the far northeast of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower on the Rowan Plain.

There is a button in the room’s left corner that must be pressed in order to open the big gate adjacent. Use Ultrahand to pick up the enormous ice block and temporarily dipped in the flame columns on the opposite side of the chamber to melt it into a size that will fit inside the button’s nook. To open the gate, place the ice block on the button.

Next, ascend the long room to the top platform by using the air current. You’ll witness the enormous ice cubes falling and melting continuously in the flames. You can use Ultrahand to garb the metal plate adjacent to the ice maker and place it in front of the flame. then grab an ice cube for the next step.

Use Ultrahand to drag the ice cube on the spike ramp and let it go. It’ll slide down unharmed.

A second ice cube will arrive when some time has passed. Use ultrahand to join the heavy metal plate with ice cube slide the combination down the ramp. The metal plate won’t slide down by itself.

Use ultrahand to climb to place the cube near the ledge and climb it to get to the chest.

Bring ice and metal structure to the previous room. Put the structure under the fire flames and making sure the metal plate covers the ice as shown in image below.

With the ice shielded, the combined weight of your structure will press down a giant concealed button, opening the exit gate. Once the door is open, enter and take your Light of Blessing.
