This guide will help you to complete all of the objectives of the side quest “Flight Test” in the game Hogwarts Legacy. In this side quest, you will fly a broomstick and race against another student in an old Quidditch Arena.

Starting Location
Head to Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade and purchase any broom you want. I have marked the location below. This side quest can only be completed once players finish Madam Kogawa’s main quest – The Flying Class.
Purchase a Broom at Spintwitches
You can purchase any broom you want at Spintwitches. All brooms are available at a cost of 600 Gold. Make sure you have enough to begin the quest. Albie Weekes, the vendor at Spintwitches will ask you to collect flight data near Hogwarts’ Quidditch pitch.
Speak with Imelda Reyes at the Quidditch Pitch
Now that you’ve got a broom, you need to head out of town to the Quidditch Pitch, and since the location is far you have to use your newly acquired broom to fly to the location.
Beat Imelda at the Quidditch Pitch Broom Trial
Upon arrival, you will find Imelda Reyes standing alone. Just go and speak with her. She will assign you to complete a time trial course in which you must beat her time. Hold Boost for the duration of the trial.
- To avoid penalties, fly through the rings. The course contains 22 rings, and missing any of them results in a three-second penalty.
- And also fly through the yellow rings to gain speed boosts. You must complete the course within 2:20:52 minutes or faster to collect the necessary flight data.
Return to Albie Weekes
After outperforming Imelda Reyes’ time, players should speak with her and return to Hogsmeade. Speak with Albie in Spintwitches to complete the “Flight Test” side quest.
