Where to Find the Crimson Lantern
Leon can obtain the Crimson Lantern in the Castle’s Wine Cellar area after he defeats the Cultist Leader. Cultist Leader is in the adjacent chamber and easily recognize by its red-colored robe.
Place the Crimson Lantern on the Cultist Statue
After defeating the Cultist Leader, return to the previous room and place the Crimson Lantern on the Cultist Statue next to the entrance. By doing so, you will be able to solve the puzzle and unlock a door in Chapter 8 that will allow you to proceed.

To quickly take down a Cultist Leader, one should aim for either the head or legs and always target the Exposed Plaga. Shotguns or rifles can be used to hit the shield, and it’s important to eliminate the Zealot Staff as soon as possible to reduce the overall threat in the area. Also it’s important to eliminate the Cultist Leader’s Staff in the area as soon as possible to reduce the overall threat.
