This merchant’s request is available in Chapter 4 where Leon will finally be able to explore the lake after finding fuel for the boat. To initiate the Catch Me A Big Fish side quest, locate the blue request note in the Lakeside Settlement. This note requests the player to capture a giant lunker bass in the lake and features a black-and-white image that serves as a hint for the fish’s potential location.
Location
Lunker Bass can be found close to the Boat House in the southern section of the lake. The Lunker Bass is a large fish with its fins sticking out of the water. Equip yourself with the Harpoon and approach the Lunker Bass and hit the corresponding button on the gaming platform to collect it.
How to Catch Lunker Bass
The players must kill the fish (Lunker Bass) with a harpoon to capture.
- When the Lunker Bass’s fins are sticking out of the water, aim the harpoon at Lunker Bass.
- Wait until the water is filled with blood before releasing the projectile.
