Introduction

Start the Seat of Eternity sidequest in Gizeh Village, where Nawal’s spy tells you about an abandoned ruin guarded by wild dogs. Use your bullwhip to scare off three dogs at the campsite and find the Gizeh Relics book near the tent by the train track. The puzzle awaits in an underground tomb northwest of the Great Sphinx. Follow our guide to solve it and collect all canopic jars.

Seat of Eternity Puzzle Location

The Seat of Eternity is an optional puzzle in Gizeh. Nawal’s spy at Gizeh Village may add it to your journal, or you might find it near wild dogs west of the village. Solve the puzzle to earn an Ancient Relic and complete the Riddles of the Ancients discovery.

How to Solve the Canopic Jar Puzzle in the Seat of Eternity

  • From the tent, head south to find a hole near the ruin. Use your whip to open the door, grab the Jackal Canopic Jar, and toss it across the gap. Place all four jars—Horus, Anubis, Babi, and the Jackal—to open the sarcophagus.
  • Gather all the jars before placing them. You already have the Jackal, and the Falcon is in the puzzle room. Use your whip to drop into the pit, grab the Human Jar, toss it up, and climb out.
  • Break the wall near the puzzle room. Grab the shovel from the tent, toss it across the gap like the Jackal Jar, and smash the wall.
  • Grab the Baboon Jar and return to the puzzle room. Pick up the note, then align the jars in this order: Human, Falcon, Jackal, and Baboon. This unlocks the Ancient Jar and solves the Mystery.
