Set the pedestal symbols using the keys from the Khmer Crypt to solve the Symbol Pedestal puzzle in the Burial Chamber during A Study in Fear in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Symbol Pedestal Puzzle Location
You can find the first two Symbol Pedestal puzzles in the secret Khmer Vault and the final one in the Burial Chamber during A Study in Fear.
Key Locations
Circle Key
The first key, the Circle Key, is obtained after revealing the first puzzle. Talk to Annika to get it.
Cross ＆ Circle Key
Progress through the tomb to find the second Symbol Pedestal puzzle and the Cross & Circle Key on a nearby skeleton.
Cross ＆ Diamond Key
Find the final Cross & Diamond Key in the Burial Chamber on a pillar to your right. Reach it by traversing and swinging along the right-side walls.
Symbol Pedestal Puzzle Solution
- Burn the vines with a torch to reveal a two-bar valve, then turn it to uncover the first puzzle.
- Use the Circle Key on the first pedestal puzzle near the Khmer Vault entrance. Talk to Annika to get the key.
Second Symbol Pedestal Puzzle Solution
- Whip yank the wall plug to release water and spin the symbols on the second pedestal.
- Use the Cross & Circle Key from the skeleton to align the Diamond and Cross symbols, then insert the Circle Key to align all three.
Third Symbol Pedestal Puzzle Solution
- In the final room, three pedestals hint at three keys. Grab the third Cross & Diamond Key before solving the puzzles.
- Call the three pedestals A, B, and C for easier distinction.
- Whip yank the right-side plug on the Demon’s Head to spin pedestal C.
- Use the Cross & Circle Key to align the symbols and solve Pedestal A.
- Use the Circle Key to align the cross with the circle, then the Cross & Circle Key to match them with the diamond and line to solve Pedestal C.
- Use the Cross & Circle Key to align the Cross with the Diamond, then the Cross & Diamond Key to match the straight line. If needed, use the Circle Key to align the Circle.
- Unlock the Demon’s Head by inserting the three keys in place and pulling the lever.
