In this article we will guide you on how to solve the large cave shrine puzzle in Chapter 4 of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Solving this puzzle will help you to collect the Apostate’s Head. Apostate’s Head is one of two pieces needed in order to retrieve the Church Insignia Key.
Ride the boat to the dock of this Large Cave area and head towards the Puzzle location as shown in map below.
As you go from the dock to the puzzle location, look at the yellow markings on the cave’s pillars. There are three yellow markings to identify the solution. You can find the first yellow painting on a pillar near the ladder that leads to the puzzle area
2nd painting is across from the puzzle’s pedestal (dias) on the upper level.
Continuing down the left path from the second painting, you’ll discover the third and final yellow painting.
Once you’ve located all three markings, make your way to the Stone Dais and press the three corresponding buttons on the cave shrine in any sequence to unlock the door. Finally, head inside to collect the Apostate’s Head.
