The Lost Astrolabe is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy that you can accept by speaking to Grace Pinch-Smedley. This article will guide the players on how to complete The Lost Astrolabe. This side quest will teach a player about diving.
Starting Location
To initiate the quest, players must exit the Hogwarts castle and make their way to the Lower Hogsfield. I have marked the location on the map.
Speak with the student on the dock
At the location, you will find Grace Pinch-Smedley (NPC) at the wooden dock near Black Lake. Speak to her and she’ll tell you that her grandfather’s astrolabe has fallen to the bottom of the Black Lake and need your help to retrieve it.
Dive into the Black Lake and find the astrolabe
Jump into the water and swim northeast after talking with her. You must swim into the region indicated by a purple circle on your mini-map. As you approach the marked area, you should notice five circular anomalies spouting up from the lake. Approach all circular anomalies and dive into them. You’ll either collect some Gear or you’ll find the Pinch-Smedley astrolabe.
Return to Grace
Once you’ve acquired the astrolabe, make your way back to Grace to return her family heirloom and complete this Side Quest!
