Introduction
In the side quest “The Provisioner’s Plight” in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you assist the Borderwatch Outpost in gathering supplies. Completing this quest reveals useful locations for gathering supplies, making it worthwhile. Our guide provides all the details to help you start and finish the quest.
How to Start The Provisioner’s Plight
You’ll find this quest at the Borderwatch Outpost, northeast of Melve. A soldier named Geoffrey near the center asks you to deliver a note to Markus, another soldier gathering supplies. The note lists extra items Markus should collect before returning.
Locate Markus and Deliver the Note in Provisioner’s Plight Quest
Head north from Borderwatch Outpost, following the marked path. You’ll find Markus on a small cliff, collecting provisions. When you reach him, hand over the Provisioner’s Note.
Collect 3 Harspuds, 2 Greenwarish, and 2 Apples
After giving Markus the note, gather 3 Harspuds and 2 Greenwarish from the marked quest areas. You’ll also need 2 Apples. If you or your Pawns don’t already have them, you can find Apples in the Overworld.
Mix Greenwarish and Apples in Provisioner’s Plight Quest
After gathering enough Greenwarish and Apples, combine 1 Greenwarish with 1 Apple to craft a Salubrious Draught. You’ll need to make 2 Salubrious Draughts to complete the quest.
Bring the Items to Markus and Report Back to Geoffrey
After gathering the required provisions, speak to Markus and deliver 3 Harspuds and 2 Salubrious Draughts. He will thank you and reward you with Waking Powder.Then, head back to Geoffrey at Borderwatch Outpost. He will express his gratitude and reward you with 900 Gold and 1 Dried Fruit.
