How to Solve the “Bulls Of Blood” Mystery
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, players encounter the Bulls of Blood mystery in the Courtyard of the Angel in Castel Sant’Angelo, just before entering the Pasetto di Borgo and meeting Antonio. The mystery starts when players pick up Russo’s Note from a desk, revealing the janitor cleaned a passage near the fireplace. The Angel Courtyard Map in the painting room provides a second clue, marking the secret passage’s location.

Locating Russo’s Note
While navigating Castel Sant’Angelo toward the Vatican, you pass through the enemy-packed Courtyard of the Angel. Sneak past or eliminate the fascists, then enter the office on the right. On the desk, find Russo’s Note to unlock “The Bulls of Blood.”
Locate the Fireplace
Russo’s Note mentions a “passage” near a fireplace as your next goal. While a fireplace is in the same room, the nearby passage is a decoy and not the one you need.
Unlocking the Passage by Solving “The Bulls of Blood”
In the second office, find two bull paintings, one white and one red, on either side of the fresco. Examine the nearby desk to find a calling card showing two bulls facing each other. Rotate the paintings accordingly to solve the puzzle.
Note:- Complete this puzzle during your first visit to Castel Sant’Angelo or return later.
Rotate the paintings so the red bulls face each other, matching the card on the desk. This will open the fresco, revealing the hidden passage and your reward.
“The Bulls Of Blood” Rewards
Solving the puzzle rewards you with 100 Adventure Points, usable for character upgrades from in-game books. Inside the passage, find Cesare Borgia’s Letter on a table to your right for additional AP. Go upstairs through the secret passage, pull the lever to open a gate, and collect 100 lire from a rations chest. Pull a second lever to open another gate, returning to the main area and continuing your mission. Use this section later as a shortcut or hideaway. You’ve completed your first optional mystery keep an eye out for notes, hidden entryways, and other puzzles throughout Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
