This guide will help you to complete the quest “Breaking Bones Quest” in the game of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Breaking Bones is a quest for Scar in Disney Dreamlight Valley, where you will upgrade your Royal Shovel to let you to remove Wildebeest Bones from the Sunlit Plateau.

Breaking Bones Quest Walkthrough
This quest is available after the “Friends Aren’t Food” quest.
Talk to Scar
Speak with Scar and he will complain about the large wildebeest bones blocking off his areas in the Sunlit Plateau. He’ll ask you to speak with Scrooge McDuck about upgrading your Royal Shovel.
Talk to Scrooge McDuck
Speak with Scrooge and he’ll give you the Mold for an upgraded shovel
Talk to Scar
Scar will inform you that you need to gather the following items to use the mold:
- Five Lion’s Claws x 5
- Five Dry Wood x 5
- Five Iron Ingot x 5
Where to find Lion’s Claw
You can find Lion’s Claws buried near the cliff in the Sunlit Plateau.
Where to find Dry Wood
Dry Woods are available near trees in the Forgotten Lands, Frosted Heights, and Sunlit Plateau.
Where to find Iron Ingot
You can craft Iron Ingots using Iron Ore and Coal. Iron Ore can be mined in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust.
Craft the Lion’s Claw Shovel Head
Once you gather those items, craft the Lion’s Claw Shovel Head at any crafting station.
Improve the Shovel by using the new Lion’s Claw Shovel Head
Go to your inventory and use “Claw Shovel Head” to upgrade the Royal Shovel.
Remove the small wildebeest bones littering the Sunlit Plateau
Head to the Sunlit Plateau and use the upgraded shovel to remove five of the small wildebeest bones in the region. Finally, speak with Scar and complete the quest.
